What john rustad and his candidates believe
In the last 28 days, we’ve learned a lot about John Rustad and the views he accepts on his team:
That “the masses have bought into a lie” about climate science.
That wildfires are “intentionally ignited by ‘climate change’ activists” to further their climate agenda.
That climate change “may be a hoax.”
That elites are using climate change as a guise for depopulating the planet.
That climate change is a global conspiracy to make kids eat bugs.
That Joe Biden and US Democrats “cheated” in the 2020 election and that Donald Trump really won.
That the January 6 riot was fake, a lie, and was perpetrated by “antifa dressed as Trump supporters.”
That motherhood begins “from the moment of conception.”
Whatever this is.
That Muslim kids are “little inbred walking, talking, breathing time bombs.”
That “coexistence with Islam” is “absolutely not” possible, that “there is something wrong” with them and that they shouldn’t have a “seat at the table.”
That UBC should be defunded for teaching a course on “Race, ethics, and physical culture.”
That BC public health policies are comparable to The Holocaust.
That pandemic lockdown restrictions are comparable to the Holocaust.
That vaccine mandates are comparable to Holodomor.
That Justin Trudeau is comparable to Hitler.
That federal gun control laws on assault weapons and handguns are an injustice comparable to the internment of Japanese Canadians.
That "there is nothing to be proud of" for Canucks players choosing to wear Pride jerseys.
That the rainbow Pride flag is an “offence to Christians.”
That people who are gay are “groomers,” and Elenore Sturko is a “woke, lesbian, social justice warrior.”
That Pride is about “supporting trans strippers and groomers” and SOGI is about pretending you don’t know the difference between a boy and a girl.
That an endorsement from conversion therapy-defender Laurie Throness is a good thing.
That getting the “so-called vaccine” is something to regret.
That Dr. Bonnie Henry is a “tyrant who should face a criminal inquiry,” that we should “put her behind bars,” and that she and Dr. Theresa Tam should be sued “until everything is taken from them.”
That she used the vaccination program to put “control on the population.”
That government inflated COVID-19 stats to make the pandemic look worse than it was.
That BC public health officials should be put through a Nuremberg-style trial.
That freedom convoy organizer Tamara Lich is “an inspiration.”
That the freedom convoy was a worthy cause for donations.
That the PPC is a worthy place for your vote.
That mass shootings, including at a Quebec City mosque and Sandy Hook Elementary, might be fake and share "sketchy stories that change drastically from initial events."
That BC should not enforce federal gun laws.
That Indigenous people inherently commit more crimes “like Black people in the US.”
That it’s okay to laugh with a podcast host about mass graves at residential schools being a “massive fraud.”
That Indigenous people fighting for title should give back “the wheel, the lightbulb, the microchip,” and “modern medicine.”
That misrepresenting yourself as a medical doctor is okay.
That spreading vaccine misinformation as a doctor is okay.
That you can cure COVID with a hair dryer.
That vaccines cause AIDS.
