In light of the ongoing emergencies in communities across the province, particularly in the Fraser Valley, the BC NDP has made the difficult decision to postpone elements of Convention 2021, previously scheduled to begin this Friday, November 19.

Business that is not required by our constitution to happen this weekend has been postponed. We are working to secure a new date.

There is one constitutional requirement that the Party must proceed with this weekend and that is the election of a new executive.

Electronic balloting to elect our new Provincial Executive and Council members will be held, with voting open for an extended period of time to ensure all delegates have the opportunity to participate.
