For 16 years, the BC Liberals made life harder for renters by allowing speculators and money launderers to drive up the cost of housing, putting their big-money developer friends ahead of everyday people.

John Horgan's BC NDP government is turning that around. To make life more affordable for renters during this pandemic, we're freezing rents until the end of 2021 — effective immediately — plus we're banning illegal renovictions and will permanently cap future rent increases to the rate of inflation.
